Lucknow Property Owners Have One Day Left to Claim 5% House Tax Rebate
LUCKNOW | July 30, 2026: The Lucknow Municipal Corporation (LMC) has announced that July 31, 2026, will be the final day for property owners to claim a 5% rebate on house tax payments.
The civic body has clarified that the concession will not be extended beyond the deadline, urging taxpayers to clear their dues on time.
5% Rebate Available Until July 31
The rebate has been approved by the Municipal Corporation's Executive Committee and is available for both:
- Online house tax payments.
- Offline house tax payments.
Eligible property owners who pay their house tax by July 31 can avail of the 5% discount.
No Extension Planned
According to the municipal corporation, the rebate scheme will end on the announced date, and no extension is currently planned.
Municipal Commissioner Gaurav Kumar has appealed to residents to make their payments before the deadline to avoid missing the benefit.

The civic body said timely collection of property tax helps strengthen municipal finances, allowing faster execution of:
- Road maintenance.
- Sanitation services.
