GHAZIABAD | July 30, 2026: The Ghaziabad Development Authority (GDA) has stepped up efforts to accelerate work on its Harnandipuram Township and other key development projects after Vice Chairman Nand Kishore Kalal reviewed pending works and directed officials to ensure timely execution.

Following the review meeting, officials from multiple departments remained in the office beyond working hours to clear pending files and speed up project-related approvals.


GDA Reviews Progress of Key Projects

During the review meeting, the Vice Chairman expressed concern over delays in several development works, particularly those related to the Harnandipuram Township.

Officials were instructed to:

  • Clear pending files without unnecessary delays.
  • Improve coordination between departments.
  • Complete development works within the prescribed timelines.
  • Regularly monitor the progress of major projects.


Pending Files Cleared

After the meeting, officers and staff voluntarily worked for several additional hours to process pending proposals and resolve long-pending files.

The GDA clarified that no formal order was issued asking employees to stay late, but officials chose to continue working to speed up project execution.

The authority said timely completion of development projects remains a priority, and regular reviews will continue to ensure that important projects, including Harnandipuram Township, progress according to schedule.
