GDA to Develop 6-Acre Anand Vatika Park in Ghaziabad

GHAZIABAD, August 29, 2026: Residents of Madhuban Bapudham are set to get a new recreational and green space as the Ghaziabad Development Authority (GDA) develops Anand Vatika Park across nearly six acres.
The park is expected to be completed in around one year and will combine sports, recreation, walking and wellness facilities for residents.
Sports, Walking and Wellness Facilities
The proposed Anand Vatika will include a sports zone, food zone, walking track, meditation centre and skating area. A tall national flag will also be installed as a key attraction.
The park will have pathways, seating areas and modern lighting to make the space suitable for regular use by residents and families.
Existing Trees to Be Protected
GDA plans to develop the park while preserving the existing greenery. Trees already present within the site will not be cut during boundary-wall construction, while additional plantation will be carried out to increase the green cover.
Why It Matters for Madhuban Bapudham Residents
The project will give residents access to a dedicated public space for exercise, recreation, relaxation and family activities closer to home. Better green and recreational infrastructure can also improve the overall liveability of the residential area.
What Happens Next
With development work already started, the park is expected to take around 12 months to complete. Once operational, Anand Vatika could become an important community space within the expanding Madhuban Bapudham residential area.
