Spread across 2,593 sq m, the two-storey facility includes a 225-seat hall, kitchen, rooms, changing facilities, parking and landscaped areas. It is intended to provide an affordable venue for weddings and other social functions, particularly for low- and middle-income families.

Why It Matters

The projects are aimed at improving Gorakhpur's basic civic infrastructure and public amenities. Better roads, drainage, water supply and flood-management systems could also improve the city's liveability and support future residential and commercial development.
