LDA Launches Varun Vihar and Naimish Nagar Housing Schemes with Over 3,100 Plots in First Phase

LUCKNOW | June 16, 2026 — The Lucknow Development Authority has finalized plans to launch its Varun Vihar and Naimish Nagar housing schemes, with online registration opening for more than 3,100 residential plots in the first phase .

The decision was finalized by LDA vice-chairperson Prathamesh Kumar on Monday . Both schemes are expected to reshape Lucknow's residential landscape and create new employment and commercial hubs .

Plots measuring 72 sq m to 450 sq m will be offered across two sectors in each project .

Varun Vihar (Agra Expressway) 

• Total area: 6,580 acres

• Phase one plots: 1,926

• Kailash Khand: 1,218 plots

• Kashi Khand: 708 plots

• Expected residents: 3.5 lakh

Naimish Nagar (IIM Road) 

• Total area: 3,600 acres

• Phase one plots: 1,179

• Expected residents: 2-3 lakh
