Jaipur Hotel Boom Brings 40 New Properties as Destination Wedding Demand Drives Expansion
Jaipur | September 21, 2026: Jaipur’s hospitality and commercial real estate market is heading into a major expansion phase, with more than 40 large hotel projects planned in and around the city. The development pipeline is being driven largely by rising destination wedding demand, with around 20 projects planned along the Jaipur-Delhi highway, creating a growing hospitality corridor with potential implications for surrounding land and commercial development.
More Than 40 Hotels Enter Jaipur’s Pipeline
Around 40 large hotel properties are currently at different stages of development across Jaipur and its surrounding areas, according to the Federation of Hospitality and Tourism of Rajasthan.
The pipeline includes projects associated with major hospitality brands such as Grand Hyatt, Radisson Blu, JW Marriott, Sofitel Legend and Waldorf Astoria, along with other domestic and international operators.
Most of the projects are expected to become operational within around five years, while at least five properties could begin operations within the next year.
Jaipur-Delhi Highway Emerges as Key Hotel Corridor
The Jaipur-Delhi highway has become a major focus for new hospitality development. Around 20 of the proposed hotels are planned along this corridor.
Its road connectivity and availability of large land parcels are supporting the development of larger hotel projects, particularly those requiring substantial space for rooms, banquets, lawns and wedding-related facilities.

Branded Room Supply Set to Rise Sharply
The arrival of multiple international and domestic hotel brands is expected to substantially increase Jaipur's branded hotel room inventory.

RIICO Land Auctions Could Add More Projects
The development pipeline could expand further. The Rajasthan State Industrial Development and Investment Corporation (RIICO) is currently auctioning seven large plots, potentially creating additional opportunities for hospitality development.
This adds another layer to Jaipur's commercial real estate growth, particularly in locations where large parcels can support full-scale hotels and event infrastructure.

The hotel expansion is not limited to Jaipur. Hospitality industry representatives have also reported new project activity in destinations such as Pushkar, Udaipur and Jodhpur.
