Lucknow LDA Shifts Narmada Apartments to CG City With 520 New Luxury Homes
Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh | September 21, 2026: The Lucknow Development Authority (LDA) has moved its stalled Narmada Apartments project to a new site in CG City and renamed it Nautica Greens, bringing the housing scheme closer to one of Lucknow's major sports, retail and residential destinations.
The new project will feature 500 three-bedroom-plus-study apartments and 20 penthouses across five high-rise towers near Ekana Stadium. Importantly, existing Narmada Apartments allottees will be accommodated in the new project without paying any additional amount.
Narmada Apartments Gets a New Location
The original Narmada Apartments project was planned near Rapti Apartments along G-20 Road in Gomti Nagar Extension.
It had been designed with 300 flats and 12 penthouses, with registrations and allotments already completed through an online application and lottery process.
The project was subsequently stalled following a court case. After a committee headed by the LDA secretary reviewed the matter, the authority decided to shift the project to a new location.
The revised project will now be developed at Chak Ganjaria City (CG City).
Nautica Greens Will Have Five 28-Storey Towers
The new project will come up on a nearly five-acre site between Ekana Cricket Stadium and Phoenix Palassio.
The planned development includes:
- 5 residential towers
- 28 storeys in each tower
- 500 three-bedroom-plus-study flats
- 20 penthouses
- Around 2,100 sq ft built-up area for each regular flat
- Around 4,000 sq ft for each penthouse
- Parking for more than 500 vehicles
The project will also include a gymnasium, swimming pool, clubhouse, park, children's play area and power backup.
Existing Allottees Will Not Pay More
One of the most important changes concerns people who were already allotted homes under the Narmada Apartments scheme.
The LDA has said existing allottees will be accommodated in Nautica Greens without any additional charge.
For allottees who do not want to shift to the new project, the authority has stated that their money will be refunded along with applicable interest under the rules.
This could provide an exit route for buyers who no longer want to remain invested in the shifted project.
Why the CG City Location Matters
The new site places Nautica Greens in a prominent part of CG City, between Ekana Stadium and Phoenix Palassio.
The location gives the project proximity to sports, retail and entertainment infrastructure, while the wider Gomti Nagar Extension and CG City belt continues to see residential development.
For homebuyers, the location could make the project particularly relevant to those looking for larger homes close to established commercial and recreational destinations.

The revised scheme is considerably different from the original Narmada Apartments plan.
The earlier project had 300 flats and 12 penthouses. Nautica Greens is planned with 520 residential units in total, including larger three-bedroom-plus-study apartments and 20 penthouses.
The proposed 2,100 sq ft built-up area of the regular apartments places the project in a larger-home segment rather than compact affordable housing.
However, the LDA has not yet announced the final sale price for the new units.
Registration Will Begin After RERA Approval
The authority has said online registration for Nautica Greens will open after the project is registered with RERA.
This means prospective buyers should wait for the official RERA registration, approved project details, pricing, payment schedule and allotment terms before making any new application or payment.
Existing Narmada allottees should also check the formal documentation issued by the LDA regarding their revised allotment and refund options.

The LDA has approved the new site and project concept, while RERA registration remains the next key step before fresh online registrations can begin.
