Julie Dahl Takes Over IRES MLS as Leadership Change Comes During a Major Shift in US Property Data

Fort Collins, Colorado, USA | September 12, 2026: IRES MLS has named Julie Dahl as its new CEO, bringing a 23-year veteran of the organization into the top leadership role as the US real estate industry undergoes major changes in listing data sharing, regulation and MLS operations.
Dahl, who previously served as IRES chief operating officer, will succeed Jeff Bosch, who is leaving after a transition period to become CEO of Arizona Regional MLS.
23 Years of MLS Experience Behind the Appointment
Dahl joined IRES in 2003 as director of training and communications and later held leadership positions in operations and industry relations before becoming COO.
Her experience spans broker support, product training, customer service and relationships with real estate associations and industry participants. The IRES board said that background was a key reason for selecting her to lead the organization.
Why the Change Matters to Real Estate Professionals
MLS platforms are central to how agents and brokers access and share property listing information. Changes in data-sharing agreements, regulation and regional MLS consolidation are therefore affecting how real estate professionals market and transact properties.
As CEO, Dahl is expected to focus on customer service, staff support and operational strength while IRES adapts to these changes.
Bosch Leaves After Four Years at IRES
Bosch led IRES for four years and will remain temporarily to support the leadership transition before moving to Arizona Regional MLS.
During his tenure, he oversaw modernization of IRES systems and tools and was involved with the Council of Multiple Listing Services, contributing to broader industry discussions around MLS practices.
MLS Consolidation Could Shape the Next Phase
Dahl’s national MLS experience could become particularly important as the industry sees more regional consolidation, data-sharing partnerships and changes to compensation rules.
For brokers, agents and property sellers, these developments can ultimately influence how quickly listing information moves across platforms and how efficiently properties reach potential buyers.
IRES’s leadership transition therefore comes at a time when MLS organizations are playing an increasingly important role in the technology and data infrastructure behind the US property market.
