YEIDA to Build ₹257 Crore Green Office in Sector 18 Greater Noida

Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh | September 4, 2026: The Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA) is set to develop a new five-storey central office in Sector 18, Greater Noida, strengthening the administrative infrastructure of one of the NCR’s fastest-growing development corridors.

Spread across around 27,500 sq m, the proposed green building will involve an estimated investment of ₹257 crore. The project could add to the institutional infrastructure around the Yamuna Expressway region as development activity accelerates around Greater Noida and the upcoming Noida International Airport.

Construction Company Selection Expected This Month

YEIDA is expected to select the construction company by the end of September.

Around 16 companies participated in the pre-bid meeting, while applications have been invited until September 16. The technical bids are scheduled to be opened on September 18.

Once the contractor is finalised, construction work is expected to begin soon.

Five-Storey Office to Spread Across 27,500 Sq M

The new central office will be constructed on a 27,500-square-metre site in Sector 18.

The five-storey development will bring YEIDA’s administrative and departmental offices together at a single location, creating a dedicated institutional centre for the authority.

The project is expected to take around 2.5 years to complete.

Green Building Design to Focus on Energy Efficiency

The proposed office will be developed as a green building, with energy efficiency incorporated into its design.

This is significant for the wider Greater Noida and Yamuna Expressway region, where large-scale residential, commercial, industrial and infrastructure projects are creating demand for modern public infrastructure.

A sustainable government office could also set a benchmark for energy-efficient institutional buildings in the developing corridor.

Project to Be Developed in Two Phases

Construction will be undertaken in two phases.

The first phase will focus on the administrative building and offices for different YEIDA departments.

The second phase will include an integrated control room, auditorium and other modern facilities, expanding the office into a more comprehensive administrative and operational centre.

New Office Supports the Yamuna Expressway Growth Corridor

The project comes at a time when the Yamuna Expressway region is witnessing major development activity, including residential projects, industrial investment and infrastructure expansion.

Greater Noida’s Sector 18 and surrounding areas are expected to gain importance as the wider Yamuna corridor develops. Better administrative infrastructure can support faster coordination and service delivery as the authority manages increasing development activity.

For property buyers and investors, government infrastructure is one of several factors that can influence the long-term attractiveness of a developing urban corridor.

What This Means for Greater Noida Property Market

The YEIDA office itself is not a residential or commercial real estate project, but its development reflects the broader institutional build-out taking place in the Yamuna region.

As government offices, roads, utilities and other public infrastructure expand alongside private development, the region could become more attractive for businesses, employees and residents.

The next key milestone will be the selection of the construction company later this month, followed by the start of work on the ₹257 crore project.
