The recovery drive will continue until September 30 and aims to recover nearly ₹1,000 crore in outstanding property tax dues across Nagpur.
Celebration Lawn Seized Over ₹90 Lakh Dues
One of the day's biggest actions took place in the Nehru Nagar Zone, where the civic body seized a prominent celebration lawn.
The property owners had outstanding property tax dues of around ₹90.36 lakh despite repeated notices.

- Amount recovered from those five owners: ₹3.23 lakh through cheque payments
The remaining properties in Gandhibagh were subsequently seized after their owners failed to clear the outstanding dues.

The civic body is focusing particularly on large commercial establishments and habitual property tax defaulters.
