New Delhi | September 29, 2026: Black Opal Consultants has raised ₹15.69 crore from seven anchor investors ahead of its initial public offering (IPO), which opened for subscription on September 29. The fundraising puts the Delhi-NCR real estate advisory company's business model and expansion plans in focus as it prepares to enter the BSE SME platform.

The company allotted 7,96,200 equity shares at ₹197 apiece, the upper end of its IPO price band. The ₹55.08-crore public issue will remain open until October 1, 2026.

Seven Anchor Investors Participate in IPO

Black Opal Consultants allotted shares to seven anchor investors, including Venus Investments VCC-Venus Stellar Fund, Longthrive Capital VCC-Trendview Capital Fund, Radiant Global Fund-Class B Participating Shares, Uni Growth Fund, Securocorp Bharat Amritkaal Fund I, PESB Alpha Fund and Algoquant Global Opportunities Fund.

The anchor allocation was completed at ₹197 per share. Anchor investors typically participate in an IPO before the public subscription period, providing an early indication of institutional participation in the issue.

₹55 Crore IPO Opens for Subscription

The IPO comprises 27.96 lakh equity shares, with a price band of ₹185 to ₹197 per share. At the upper end of the price band, the issue is valued at approximately ₹55.08 crore.

The offering opened on September 29 and will close on October 1. The shares are proposed to be listed on the BSE SME platform.

Black Opal’s Real Estate Business Model

Black Opal Consultants operates as a real estate advisory, sales and distribution platform in the Delhi-NCR region. It works with property developers to facilitate residential and commercial property sales and also participates selectively at the project level.

The company has a network of more than 25 developers and 300 broker partners. Since its inception, it has facilitated property sales exceeding ₹4,000 crore.

Its business connects developers seeking to sell inventory with buyers through its sales and distribution network. The company's performance is therefore linked to property transactions, developer partnerships and the demand for residential and commercial real estate.

IPO Brings Attention to Real Estate Sales Platforms

The public issue gives investors an opportunity to examine a business operating at the intersection of real estate development and property sales. Unlike a conventional developer that primarily builds and sells its own projects, Black Opal's core activities include advisory and distribution services for other developers.

Its developer relationships and broker network are central to its operating model. The ability to secure sales mandates and convert them into completed transactions will be important to its business performance.

What Investors Should Watch

The IPO is priced at ₹185–₹197 per share, with the anchor allocation completed at the upper end. Investors tracking the issue can review the company's offer documents for details about its financial performance, risks, use of proceeds and business strategy.

The issue's subscription closes on October 1, while the proposed listing is on the BSE SME platform. The anchor allocation reflects participation by seven investors but does not guarantee the performance of the shares after listing.

What Happens Next

With the IPO now open, attention will turn to subscription levels and the completion of the allotment process. The company is seeking to raise capital through the public issue while bringing its real estate advisory and distribution business to the SME market.

The listing will provide a public-market valuation of the company, while its future performance will depend on business execution, developer relationships and activity in the property market.
