Gujarat has emerged as a potential location, with Foxconn executives recently surveying a site near Sanand in Ahmedabad district.

According to government sources, Foxconn has inspected a land parcel near Sanand and is expected to decide on the location in the coming weeks. The proposed facility could manufacture mobile phones and other high-end electronic products.
