Runwal Enterprises IPO Sees 42% Subscription on Day One as QIB Demand Leads

New Delhi | September 26, 2026: Runwal Enterprises Ltd's ₹500 crore initial public offering (IPO) received 42% subscription on its first day of bidding, with qualified institutional buyers (QIBs) accounting for the strongest demand among investor categories. The real estate developer's public issue will remain open until September 29, giving investors more time to participate.
According to NSE data, the IPO received bids for 50.85 lakh shares against 1.21 crore shares on offer on Friday.
QIBs Lead Subscription on the First Day
Institutional investors showed the highest participation on the opening day. The QIB category was subscribed 96%, while non-institutional investors subscribed to 28% of their reserved portion.
Retail investors subscribed to 18% of their allocated shares. Overall, the issue reached 42% subscription on the first day.
The subscription figures reflect demand recorded on the opening day and may change as bidding continues.
IPO Price Band Set at ₹290–₹305
Runwal Enterprises has fixed a price band of ₹290 to ₹305 per equity share for the public issue.
The IPO is entirely a fresh issue of shares, with the company seeking to raise up to ₹500 crore. It has reduced the issue size from its earlier plan of a ₹1,000 crore fresh issue.
The offer is scheduled to close on September 29.
Company Raises ₹148.95 Crore From Anchor Investors
Before the public issue opened, Runwal Enterprises raised ₹148.95 crore from anchor investors.
The anchor investment provides an indication of institutional participation ahead of the broader IPO bidding process, although it does not determine the final subscription level or listing performance.
Where the IPO Proceeds Will Be Used
The company plans to use the funds raised through the fresh issue for three main purposes:
- Repayment of debt
- Funding future real estate projects
- General corporate purposes
Debt repayment is one of the stated uses of the proceeds. The allocation toward future projects could support the company's development plans across its residential portfolio.
Runwal Enterprises' Residential Portfolio
Runwal Enterprises operates in the real estate sector, with projects spanning affordable, mid-income and luxury residential segments.
Its presence across multiple housing categories gives the company exposure to different parts of the residential market. The IPO proceeds are intended to support its financial requirements and future business plans.
What Investors Should Watch Before September 29
The IPO will remain open for bidding until September 29. Investors will be watching subscription levels across QIB, non-institutional and retail categories as the issue progresses.
The final subscription figures will show how demand developed over the full bidding period. The company's planned use of funds, including debt repayment and future project funding, will also remain relevant for investors assessing the offer.
