Bareilly Property Buyers Alert: New Circle Rates to Take Effect From August 25

Bareilly, August 24, 2026: Property transactions in Bareilly are set to become subject to revised circle rates from August 25, after the district administration disposed of all 137 objections received against the proposed rates.

The revision is important for anyone planning to buy, sell or register property in the district, as circle rates are used to determine the minimum value considered for property registration and related charges.

137 Objections Examined Before New Rates

The administration received 137 objections after new circle rates were proposed across all six tehsils.

The highest number came from Tulya area, where 99 objections were related to proposed rates for agricultural land. Residents and landowners had sought rates comparable to nearby urban areas, citing development and the area's proximity to Bandia and Parsakheda.

Why Property Buyers Should Care

A change in circle rates can affect the financial calculations involved in property registration. Buyers planning a transaction in Bareilly should therefore check the applicable revised rate for their property location and category before completing the deal.

The administration has now finalised the revised rates after examining the objections, with implementation scheduled for August 25, 2026.

What Happens Next

The new rates will apply across Bareilly after coming into effect tomorrow. Property owners and prospective buyers should verify the revised valuation applicable to their land or property before registration.

Grihik Angle: For Bareilly homebuyers and property owners, the key takeaway is simple — if you are planning a property transaction, the August 25 revision could change your registration calculations. Checking the new circle rate before finalising a deal can help you estimate the overall transaction cost more accurately.
