Luxury Homes Aren't Slowing Down. This Delhi Developer Just Tripled Its Sales.

New Delhi, July 7, 2026: At a time when many homebuyers are questioning whether India's housing market is losing momentum, luxury real estate continues to tell a different story.

Delhi-based luxury developer TARC Limited has reported ₹602 crore in presales during the first quarter of FY27, recording a three-fold jump compared to the same period last year. The company also reported ₹305 crore in collections, reflecting strong buyer demand and healthy cash flow.

Strong demand for premium homes

According to TARC, demand remained robust across its luxury residential portfolio during the April–June quarter.

The company attributed the growth to:

  • Rising demand for luxury residences.
  • Strong customer conversions.
  • Better collection efficiency.
  • Continued progress across ongoing residential projects.

The developer also said work is continuing on its upcoming luxury and ultra-luxury developments in Delhi and Gurugram.

Why are collections important?

While presales indicate booking activity, collections reflect the actual money received from buyers.

Higher collections generally improve a developer's cash flow, allowing construction and future project planning to progress more smoothly.

For the quarter, TARC reported ₹305 crore in customer collections, an 80% increase year-on-year.

What does this signal for Delhi's luxury market?

Luxury housing has remained one of the strongest-performing segments of India's residential market over the past few years.

Developers continue to report healthy demand from buyers looking for larger homes, premium locations and branded residential communities.

TARC's latest quarterly performance adds another indication that demand for high-end homes in Delhi-NCR remains resilient despite changing market conditions.

Why this matters

Several developers have recently announced strong booking numbers in the premium housing segment, suggesting that buyer interest continues to remain concentrated in well-located luxury projects with established brands.

Grihik Takeaway

TARC's latest performance reinforces a trend that has become increasingly visible across India's major cities—while some housing segments are seeing cautious demand, luxury residential projects continue to attract buyers willing to invest in premium homes.
