Greater Noida to Digitise Farmers’ Plot Subdivision Process

Greater Noida, August 26, 2026: The Greater Noida Authority is set to make the subdivision process for farmers’ 6%, 8% and 10% आबादी plots fully digital. A new Land Subdivision Application System will allow applicants to complete the process online, from submitting applications and documents to fee payment and map approval.

The authority invited an e-tender on August 24 to develop the system, which is expected to reduce paperwork and the need for farmers to visit authority offices.

Under the proposed system, farmers and plot holders will be able to submit subdivision applications, upload documents, complete verification, pay applicable fees and obtain map approval online. The move is expected to improve transparency and make the process easier to track.

The authority has estimated a cost of ₹50 lakh for developing the land subdivision application system.

 

Authority also upgrading planning and data security

Along with the new digital system, Greater Noida Authority is inviting bids for other technology upgrades. An estimated ₹85.92 lakh has been earmarked for AutoCAD software-related services for the planning department, including installation, testing, training and maintenance.

Another ₹113.38 lakh project will focus on cloud services and disaster recovery to strengthen the security of the authority's data and ensure services remain available during emergencies.
