Bihar Moves Toward Faster Building Approvals With Proposed 2026 Bylaws
Patna, Bihar | September 7, 2026: Bihar is moving towards a new set of Building Bylaws 2026 aimed at simplifying construction approvals, improving transparency and creating a more predictable regulatory framework for developers, property owners and investors.
A high-level group of ministers reviewed the draft in Patna as the state looks to support faster construction and planned urban development.

Representatives from CREDAI Bihar, Bihar Industries Association, Builders’ Association, Bihar Chamber of Commerce and Industry and flat owners also participated in the discussions.
