Tamil Nadu Launches 24x7 Online Document Registration System | Anywhere Registration

CHENNAI, June 8: The Tamil Nadu government on Sunday launched the "Anywhere Registration" system to simplify document registration procedures across the state.
What is Anywhere Registration?
According to a release issued by the state secretariat, the facility enables people to register documents online from anywhere at any time without visiting a sub-registrar's office.
This is a major shift from the traditional system where citizens had to physically visit government offices for document registration.
How It Works
Once registration is approved by the sub-registrar, the digitally signed document will be sent to the user's account and shared via WhatsApp to the registered mobile number.
The parties concerned can download the document through their respective user accounts, the release said.
Which Documents Are Eligible?
As per the guidelines, documents eligible for registration under the system include:
-
First sale deeds of plots
-
First sale deeds of apartments or flats
-
Tamil Nadu Housing Board sale documents
-
Mortgage and receipt documents related to bank loans
How to Use the System
Users can create login accounts on the Registration Department's website and submit the required documents online.
The system is available 24x7, allowing citizens to complete registrations at their convenience.
The Bottom Line
The 'Anywhere Registration' system eliminates the need for physical visits to sub-registrar offices, saving time and reducing paperwork. For homebuyers and property owners in Tamil Nadu, this means faster, more convenient document registration from the comfort of their homes.
